We are now known as Come Bye Border Collie Rescue (which is an assumed name for Animal Protective Association of Southern Illinois) to better reflect our passion of promoting, rescuing and rehoming the magnificent Border Collie breed not only in Southern Illinois but throughout the Midwest. Although we will continue to help all dog breeds and/or mixes as needed, our primary emphasis is on the Border Collie breed.
In case you are wondering, "Come Bye" is a herding term which instructs the dog to circle clockwise around the stock.
We have launched our new website on Rescue Groups! The site will continue to help us expand with its many features and continued enhancements.

Come Bye BC Rescue houses all foster dogs with private families, who help BCs-in-waiting adjust by ensuring they have sufficient food, grooming, medical care, affection, play, and above all, love! Veterinary care and supplies are provided by CBBCR.
